The Parent Center has the following materials available:

• Spanish DVD’s to help children learn Spanish at home 
• “We Both Read” set of easy readers to help children with reading skills 
• Reading Comprehension Cards (getting the main idea, noting and recalling details, drawing conclusions and prediction outcomes, using context clues, finding the sequence and finding cause and effect, making inferences) ● Fluency and Comprehension Reading Kit for Grades 1 and 2 
• Math resources such as: Racing Around the Clock game; Beginning Fraction Math Game; Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, and Division flash cards 
• “Active Parenting for Step Families” DVD 
• “Autism: Passport to Friendship” DVD 
• A variety of literacy flash cards 
• Picture books on C.D. 
• Individual C.D. players 
• New writing and reading comprehension flashcards 
• Sentence structure games 
• Worksheets for at home practice (with plastic sleeves and expo markers)

If you cannot personally visit our parent center, simply write a note and send it with your child about what items you would like for them to check out. Teachers may also request items for children to check out in order to practice concepts at home. Please allow up to 24 hours for your order to be filled.
